3d windows forms in XNA


Now you can create 3d windows form in XNA environment.

This example project contain using a 3d model as a form.This rich 3d capabilbty

still not avilable in WPF.So i created this example to show  using xna to create rich UI.

This project still not finished yet.

Use A, S to rotate the form

  3. WPF 3.5 (shipping in November 2007) added Viewport2DVisual3D and UIElement3D which made it easy to add 2D controls into a 3D scene. Those 2D controls get Input, Focus, and Eventing support — from the platform.
    I believe that WPF3D doesn’t have all the 3D capabilities that Direct3D gives you (and XNA as well), however, there is alot there in WPF to enable interesting forms capabilities in 3D.
    Would love to understand if I’m missing something else.
